Hello! My name is Devyn Gonzales, and I’m 21 years old from Central Texas.I am a senior student at Texas State University, majoring in Advertising with a minor in Data Analytics.I enjoy combining creativity with problem-solving. During my time at Texas State, I have gained valuable skills in Excel, SPSS, public speaking, and basic coding. Some of my favorite experiences have been working on campaigns and advertising projects that applied classroom knowledge to real-world examples. These opportunities have allowed me to grow academically and professionally, preparing me to pursue my goals with confidence.

Setting goals is important to me because they keep me motivated and focused on what I want to achieve. My short-term goals include graduating this spring, developing a professional portfolio, and gaining hands on experience through an internship in advertising, social media, or digital media. I am also working to strengthen key skills such as Excel, professional writing, HTML, and public speaking. These short-term objectives are designed to prepare me for a successful career. In the long term, my goals include building a fulfilling career in advertising and media while maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle that keeps me balanced and motivated.

I work full time at a bar called Pour Haus, which takes up most of my schedule, but in my free time I enjoy staying active by taking my dogs on walks,running, hiking, going to the gym, playing basketball, and golfing. These activities keep me physically fit while also helping me stay disciplined and motivated. When I want to relax, I enjoy watching movies, catching up on TV shows, and occasionally playing video games. During the summer, I like to travel, and this past summer I visited the beach a few times and also took a trip to Las Vegas. Most recently, I have been excited to follow the rest of the NFL season.
