Travel

Growing up, I was lucky enough to have the privilege of traveling. My parents loved to take me places to explore, whether it was nature trails close to home or bigger cities like San Antonio. Every year we also made it a tradition to visit the beach, usually South Padre or Port Aransas, and those trips gave me some of my favorite childhood memories. Traveling at a young age was good for many reasons, it helped me appreciate new experiences and made it easier to move away from home for college. Those early adventures also sparked my love for exploring new places and continue to influence the way I see the world today.

Traveling now has become a different experience for me. I’ve started to seek out my own places to visit and explore, rather than just following family traditions or passing through a city to find something fun. Creating my own experiences and memories has been exciting, and it only makes me want to travel more. Growing up in flat Texas, I never realized how beautiful and jaw dropping other landscapes could be. When I visited California and Nevada, for example, I was amazed to see mountains right off the road, something so different from home. I also love trying foods that are unique to each area and meeting new people along the way.

Dream Travel Destinations

One of my biggest wishes is to spend an extended amount of time in Japan and visit all of its islands. Japan has so many things I want to experience, including the nature, culture, food, fashion, and cars. I also want to see every national park in the United States, with plans already in mind to visit either Big Bend National Park,or Guadalupe Mountains National Park. Utah has many of the parks I want to explore, such as Bryce Canyon, Zion, and Arches. The landscapes there are stunning, and I believe visiting them would be life changing. In Wyoming, I want to hike through the Tetons and Yellowstone to take in the incredible mountain views. For Washington and Oregon, my goal is to see them all in one big road trip across the Pacific Northwest. I want to take advantage of the natural beauty that many people overlook. Travel has been part of my life since I was a kid, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. I hope to keep exploring new places and creating unforgettable memories along the way.
